today, i finally realised why one usually close their eyes when they are kissing when i was looking at my own reflection in the mirror.
So that, we can lie to ourselves.We can't see each other's imperfection such as a big zit at her forehead or the black mole on his cheek when we closed our eyes. We can even imagine that our lovers are as sexy as Angelina Jolie or as hot as Brad Pitt when we shut our eyes tight. We can lie to ourselves that our lover is perfect while he or she is not.
Maybe that is why the girl in movies always looked so shocked and wide eyed when she is kissed unexpectedly by the boy she likes. Maybe she wasn't surprised by the kiss but the remains of a cabbage at the corner of his lips or the wrinkle at the end of his eyes. Maybe this is why she remain speechless after the kiss. Maybe she was too terrified by the truth.
CONCLUSION: DO NOT OPEN YOUR EYES WHEN YOU KISS . YOU WOULD NOT ONLY DISAPPOINT YOURSELF BUT OTHERS AS WELL.
